Stand-up Paddleboard Yoga in Kennewick/Richland Washington

WE ARE NO LONGER OFFERING IN-PERSON EVENTS AS OF 2024

Slow Flow SUP Yoga

After a brief introduction on land we will paddle out to a designated area and anchor down our boards. To make this experience welcoming for everyone we keep most of the poses low and close to the board. There are no mirrors in our floating studio so your mind body connection will be taken to a whole new level. Following the final relaxation, you will have the chance to try any poses you want (we are happy to walk you through them too). We will also be available to take photos for you. The experience and connection to nature felt during class is incredible. Come give it a try, you won’t regret it!

I really enjoyed taking Krista’s sunset paddleboard yoga class on the Columbia River. It was a wonderful experience & highly recommend taking a class.

So. Much. Fun. I had only been on a paddle board once before, and haven’t done yoga in ages. The class was laid back and easily adapted for any skill level. We had a blast, and left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

Had the greatest time today doing SUP yoga. The water was warm at 7:00 am. Beautiful morning to stretch on the water. Would do it again.

Our classes are for ages 12 and up!

We use Glide SUP Lotus (10′ x 35″) boards in most of our classes and the weight limit is around 250 lbs. We do have boards available that hold up to 300 lbs, you are welcome to request a larger board and we will try our best to accommodate!

We suggest quick-dry clothing and typical yoga attire is perfect! Swim wear with a cover up is great too, depending on the weather. You can wear flip flops or water shoes if you’d like but going barefoot is easiest for balance! There are bungee cords on the board to store your shoes and water bottle during class.

We try our very best to keep you on your board during class! While you should always be prepared to fall in, the chances are slim if you really don’t want to. We encourage you to move at your own pace and you are welcome to opt out of any poses, no judgement!
If you want to attempt a warrior pose, tree pose or headstand after class though, I can almost guarantee you’ll take a swim!

Anyone who can’t swim will be required to wear a life jacket. If you are confident in your swimming abilities, you are allowed to place your life jacket at the top of the board during class. Your board will be anchored down and your instructor is a Certified Lifeguard.
