Private Classes
WE ARE NO LONGER OFFERING IN-PERSON EVENTS AS OF 2024
What You Will Experience
Our advanced paddleboard yoga class will be more challenging and faster paced than our original paddleboard yoga class. We will paddle out to a designated area and anchor down our boards. Our goal is still to keep you on your board throughout the class, but no promises! We will start by moving through sun salutations, followed by a sequence of standing and kneeling poses. Your mind body connection will be taken to a new level as you navigate through class. After the final relaxation, you will have the chance to try any poses you want (we are happy to walk you through them too). We will also be available to take photos for you. The experience and connection to nature felt during class is incredible. Come give it a try, you won’t regret it!
Frequently Asked Questions
Two Rivers Park – We meet at the second entrance of the park, it is a large gravel parking lot that leads to an old boat dock blocked off by boulders.
Our classes are for ages 12 and up!
We use Glide SUP Lotus (10′ x 35″) boards in most of our classes and the weight limit is around 250 lbs. We do have boards available that hold up to 300 lbs, you are welcome to request a larger board and we will try our best to accommodate!
We suggest quick-dry clothing and typical yoga attire is perfect! Swim wear with a cover up is great too, depending on the weather. You can wear flip flops or water shoes if you’d like but going barefoot is easiest for balance! There are bungee cords on the board to store your shoes and water bottle during class.
Yes, yes you should. We try to keep you on your board during class but this is advanced sup yoga, so you might take a swim!
Anyone who can’t swim will be required to wear a life jacket. If you are confident in your swimming abilities, you are allowed to place your life jacket at the top of the board during class. Your board will be anchored down and your instructor is a Certified Lifeguard.
